With over 20 years of experience at the mike, Bustie has hosted events such as burlesque shows (Amsterdam Burlesque Show), cabaret nights (GOSH!), queer events (Dine and drag), storytelling evenings (Smut slam) and feminist gatherings (Viva la Vulva festival).
Storytelling
Bustie's power is her vulnerability, which she uses in service of empowerment, sex positivity and breaking taboos. She has told stories about sex at events like Brave Spaces, Mezrab queer nights, Schmutze cinema and more
Standup comedy
In the name of breaking taboos, Bustie has developed standup comedy sets about atypical topics, such as the joy of perimenopause, which she has brought to events ike Funny Women in Amsterdam.
